AMBASSADOR OF GREAT BRITAIN VISITED CHAMPIONSHIP
 Mr.Kevin Lyne, ambassador of Great Britain in Montenegro, visited today European Youth Chess Championship.
During long and hearty conversation with President of British Chess Federation Mr.Gerry Walsh and Chief Arbiter Mr.Vladimir Sakotic, Mr. Lyne showed his interest for all details and he express his admire due to record number of the participants. Special attention, respectful guest dedicated to participants from England and Scotland, watching with great interest their games. Additional, Mr.Lyne, emphasize that as very young he played chess and his wish is to play sometimes few games in chess club in Podgorica.

M:TEL – FRIEND OF THE TOURNAMENT PREPARED GIFTS FOR ALL PLAYERS
 As we announced before official mobile operator of the Championship company “m:tel” prepared first surprise for all players – free SIM card with credit units!
During technical meeting of the 18 European Youth Chess Championship all players together with accreditation will get and free SIM cards with phone numbers in network 068 together with starting credit. These numbers will enable cheaper interactive communication same as possibility for parents and friends from abroad to call players without additional roaming costs.

FREE WiFi INTERNET FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS
 Organizer of the Championship is trying to provide to all participants best possible conditions for using of internet.
Thanks to the company “m:tel” friend of the tournament free wireless internet will be available in the halls of the Sport Centar Igalo and hotel “Igalo”. Hotel “ Plaza ” already provided free wireless internet for their guests on the reception level.

ADDITIONAL 250 PLACES FOR THE PARTICIPANTS OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP IN HOTEL “METALURG”
As it was announced, because of big interest and record number of participants, organizer provided additional 250 places in hotel “Metalurg”, which is placed in center of Igalo, over the way of hotel “Centar Igalo” , with the same quality as mentioned hotel.
Hotel “Metalurg”- Igalo (two star hotel) is situated in the center of Igalo, 100 m far away from the see, with 404 available beds in double, triple and four beds rooms, with toilet, 90% of the rooms have see view. Hotel have air conditioned restaurant, tavern, bar, aperitiv bar, TV hall and big gallery.

HOTEL “ PLAZA ” COMPLETELY BOOKED!
FROM WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 6, NEW HOTEL IN OFFER
 Until today tournament office received registration from 23 Federations (we expect participants from about 45 European federations). Already all places in hotel “Plaza” has been booked.
Because of big interest of participants and their companions (we expect it will be over 1400 persons) organizer is ready to add in his offer one more hotel.
Information about that will be published on Wednesday, August 6.

M:TEL – friend of the European Youth Championship
Chess Federation of Montenegro and mobile phone company „m:tel“ signed contract based on which this respectable company became friend of the tournament.
On that occasion company „m:tel“ are preparing for players and their accompaniests many surprises.

 Due to technical problems web-site of our official air-carrier „Montenegro airlines“ is not in the function.
Thus, in your travel agencies you can ask for the tickets for „Montenegro airlines“ which is flying from many European destination directly to the airports Podgorica and Tivat. |
